These terms apply when you use Chrona — the app, this website, and anything else we offer under the Chrona name. By using Chrona you agree to them. If you do not, please do not use the service.
Using Chrona
You need to be at least 13 years old. You are responsible for what happens under your account, so keep access to your phone number or email secure.
Do not use Chrona to:
- break the law, or help someone else do so;
- harass, impersonate, or deceive other people;
- upload content you do not have the right to share;
- scrape, probe, overload, or reverse-engineer the service;
- get at other people's data, or at parts of our systems you were not given access to.
Your content
Your plans, photos, and messages belong to you. You grant us the permission we need to operate the service — to store your content, show it to the people you have invited, and process it to provide features like suggestions and the assistant. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except where we are legally required to retain something.
When you invite someone to a plan, you are sharing that plan with them. When you create a share link, anyone holding it can see the plan until you revoke it. Think about who you are sending it to.
Connected accounts
Chrona connects to calendars you authorise, including Google Calendar and Apple Calendar. Those services have their own terms, and we are not responsible for them. You can disconnect at any time, and doing so stops future syncing — it does not delete events already written to your calendar.
The assistant
Chrona's assistant is generated by a language model. It can be wrong, and it can be confidently wrong. Check anything that matters — particularly times, dates, and who has been invited — before relying on it. It is a convenience, not an authority.
Availability
We try to keep Chrona running and working well, but we do not promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features. If we discontinue the service altogether, we will give you reasonable notice and a way to export what is yours.
Ending things
You can delete your account at any time from within the app. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks these terms, or where we are required to. If we do that without cause, you can ask us to explain.
Liability
Chrona is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses — a missed meeting, a plan that did not sync, time lost. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Chrona helps you coordinate; it is not a reminder system you should depend on for anything critical. If a plan genuinely matters, confirm it directly with the people involved.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is material we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Chrona after that means you accept the new terms.
